- Who can join the NDDA?
- Medical Student Membership is open to students duly matriculated in an accredited medical school in Diaspora.
- IMG In Diaspora Membership is open to all International Medical Graduates who are in Diaspora.
- IMG In Nigeria Membership is open to all International Medical Graduates who are in Nigeria.
- GP In Diaspora Membership Open to all physicians and licensed to practice medicine in the Diaspora as General practitioners.
- Academic Membership (Masters/PhD Students) Nigerian physicians who are engaged full-time in academia in an accredited school and not engaged in clinical practice in the Diaspora.
- Post Graduate Physician Membership is open to physicians in training in an accredited medical education program in Diaspora.
- Resident/Fellows membership is open to those in medical residencies and/or fellowships.
- PhD in Diaspora Membership Any Nigerian PhD holder who passed their qualifying exams in Diaspora.
- Allied Health in Diaspora Membership Nigerian Allied Health Professionals in Diaspora.

- What does membership in the NDDA offer physicians?
While you’re looking out for patients lives, the NDDA is looking out for your livelihood. More than ever, NDDA needs you to be part of its collective strength to provide you the best of the following services.- We offer you a platform to identify with our expanding global community.
- We will establish ways in collaboration with the relevant authorities (Federal Ministry of Health and the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria) to provide you competent equivalent pathways of your postgraduate medical training. The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) and the West African Medical Colleges, do not have standard criteria for certification of equivalency of your diaspora training without joining a part of their program irrespective of where you trained.

NDDA membership has annual registration and the registration is renewable. - What if I forget my member identification number or loss my membership card?
If you forget your identification number or loss your membership card simply contact NDDA’s Membership Services Division at enquirendda@gmail.com. - After I’ve joined. How long before I start receiving benefits:
Immediately after joining online you can use your personalised membership ID number to log on to NDDA’s “Members Only” pages on the web site and access your benefits. - How do I update my member record?
